Engine Oil for Honda CG125 Self
Our engine oil recommendation for the Honda CG125 Self is based on the manufacturer's guidelines outlined in the owner's manual.
Note:It's important to check the oil level regularly, as the engine oil lifespan ranges from 5 to 8 years. However, once the bottle is opened, its lifespan reduces to 6 months. Therefore, it's recommended to change the oil every 6 months or as per the mileage mentioned in the owner's manual.
For Winter
Even though it's an older engine and it can support API SF or later engine oil, we recommend using at least API SL, MA, or MA2 standard engine oil. Given that it's a small engine that works hard to provide you with power for movement, we also suggest using synthetic engine oil to ensure optimal protection for your motorcycle engine.
